As a business who thrives off of community involvement and organizing events to the public, we want to give back to our community. As a staff, we need your help to provide first responders on the front lines of this pandemic and those unemployed restaurant workers who help provide you with the food you love.
When you are buying a meal you can also buy either a meal, gift card, and/or beer for these amazing people. For every meal bought for a healthcare worker Hops N Shine will contribute another meal to these first responders.
If you buy any gift card to donate to health care professionals you will also receive something based on the price of the gift card. These include a $25 gift card you will receive one free roll of toilet paper, $50 gift card you will receive a free roll of toilet paper and a pack of sanitizing wipes, $100 gift card and you will receive a free roll of toilet paper, a pack of sanitizing wipes, and hand sanitizer.
At the end each week we will tally the healthcare workers’ meals and gift cards and deliver them to the hospital or site the following week for the staff to eat during their lunch break. While we love our grilled cheeses and wings, they can get messy, so we’re creating some variations off of them that are easier for the workers to grab and go during their shift. For those not there or available to eat, we will leave the gift cards to redeem at a later date.
Each week we’ll post how many meals and beers are purchased for unemployed restaurant workers. They can then message us their orders through Facebook.
