In honor of two and a half years going strong, we’ll be hosting events all week- beginning on Wednesday!
Wednesday – Whiskey Wednesday Brisket Dinner – click here to reserve a table!
Come enjoy a brisket and whiskey dinner to kickoff our Anniversary Weekend! The ticket fee covers the table reservation and includes a 4 course table shared dinner for 4 and a guided sample tasting with 3 of our favorite local distilleries – KO Distilling, Catoctin Creek, and Bowman Distillery. There will also be specialty whiskey cocktails and several limited and lottery release whiskeys including Abraham Bowman Gingerbread Number 2 and Catoctin Creek Rabblerouser. The guided dinner tasting is limited to 10 tables so get tickets now!
Hops N Shine is proud to have one of the largest whiskey collections in Virginia with over 120 bottles of whiskey on our shelf. Whiskey and Cocktails are an additional fee.
Thursday – Virtual Beer Tasting
2 hour long interactive virtual tasting featuring a few of Hops N Shine’s favorite breweries and reps – featured beers will be announced soon! Zoom attendance will be free and the packs are available for purchase!
Friday – Live Music
Beginning at 5 pm Jake Mimikos will be performing at Hops N Shine!
Saturday – All Day Luau Party
We will be hosting a stein hoisting competition, eating contests, and fun and games for all ages! Featured dishes include smoked kalua pork, grilled pineapple, fried spam grilled cheese, and more! Hawaiian themed beer, cider, and cocktails will be available for those 21+
Sunday –Father’s Day Charity Raffle
We’ve partnered up with Project Second Chance- a community-based rescue where the community cared for the homeless dogs on its own streets and Bike to the Beach- a group who combine biking, purpose, and fun to inspire individuals to overcome obstacles through personal challenge and to inspire the larger community to raise funds and awareness for Autism, the most prevalent developmental disability in the world. Tickets will go live on Wednesday and can be purchased at the restaurant!
